Doctor Day

I am just now updating because Jason had duty last night and had the laptop. We haven't had a chance to hook up the desktop yet. Yesterday we had Jaxon's doctor appointment and she prescribed the eye drops like I thought and nasal spray, which was wierd, but whatever. Always nice to have stuff on hand. She said he was a very socially involved child and also said it was normal for him to be very clingy and have separation anxiety at this age. It was good to hear that was due to his age because I thought I babied him to much or that he wasn't around other people enough. She said his head looked very good. Even though she had not seen it before we started him on the helmet she said on a scale of 1 - 10 of his head being abnormal she would give him a 1. She said his head is going to continue to grow and fill out. All good things. He missed his afternoon nap so we both wound up falling asleep at 5 and waking up at 7 so that always puts a kink in our night. Mama is tired this morning! I was by myself last night because Daddy to had to sit duty at the barracks from 5:00 last night to 7:00 this morning. Sometimes I wonder what life would be like without the military. To always know when your husband is coming home. To have a predictable life. But it is what it is and this is a good life for us. In 11 years he can retire and we can buy a house and settle. Until then we are in Hawaii!!!!!! What could be better then raising beach babies?! Also, Jason got his picture taken for the board to review for promotion at Quantico. Fingers crossed. I know he can do it. He is such a good Marine with a great heart and has so many accomplishments.

"Where's your tummy?"

At the doctor's office

"What mom? I didn't tear this notebook up".

The housing we get if and WHEN Jason makes Staff Sgt.
